District Boundary Information
At times, The Business Office receives phone calls from parents, community members and/or site personnel to inquire about district boundaries. The question is usually if a certain street address is zoned to LBUSD or not.
The following resources are available for your information:
- District Streets - Revised 4/2007 - a listing of district streets with details regarding their respective zoning. This list was compiled by Durham Transportation Services at the request of the district's bus pass coordinator.
- District Boundary Map - Please Note that there are several new building sites, specifically in Newport Coast, that are either zoned to LBUSD or Newport Mesa USD. Because the sites are new and zoning maps are not currently available, the best way to address these areas is to contact:

The tax assessor's office representative can provide information regarding what school district a certain address is zoned to. For newer areas without addresses assigned, the assessor's parcel number (provided by the home builder) will suffice.
Any district representative can contact the Tax Assessor's Office on behalf of the individual inquiring. The individual inquiring is also more than welcome to contact the OC Tax Assessor's Office directly.
