Laguna Beach High School is seeking mentors to participate in Authentic Exploratory Research (AER), a student self-directed project-based learning program set to launch in the fall. Focused on real-world application, AER asks students to identify a field of interest and pairs each student with a volunteer mentor in that field.

Laguna Beach High School (LBHS) and Top of the World Elementary (TOW) have been named to the 2018-2019 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll for high achievement and student success. The program is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes.

TMS 7th Grade Drama/Chorus presents our final reading of Alice in Wonderland, Thursday June 13 at 3:30pm in the TMS Black Box. This darker, more faithful version of Lewis Carroll's classic tale reimagines the experience of Wonderland and ends with an unexpected new twist. Admission is free, although donations are welcome.

LBHS Drama presents FUTURE SELVES, a playwriting & directing showcase featuring original works by the LBHS Drama/Theatre II students, including monologues, music, and short films. Steve Sogo, a science teacher at Laguna Beach High School, was selected as the Laguna Beach Unified School District's Teacher of the Year. Additionally, Nikki Romano, library media specialist at Top of the World Elementary (TOW), was selected as the Classified Employee of the Year for the district.

Two teams from Laguna Beach Unified School District competing in the Destination ImaginationĀ® (DI) Affiliate Tournament have advanced to the Global Finals taking place May 22-25 in Kansas City, Missouri. The annual Global Finals competition is the world's largest celebration of student creativity.
