PALs

The PAL® Peer Assistance Leadership Program is a statewide peer-to-peer outreach program for elementary, intermediate, and high school students. The PAL® Program teaches life skills and builds resiliency and other assets in students.

PAL® students will help the school and may participate in:

  • Community Service
  • Peer Tutoring
  • School Service
  • Conflict Resolution

  • Big Buddy/Mentoring

The program is available for interested 4th and 5th grade students. Interested students should complete an application, solicit teacher recommendations, and will need to participate in an interview process before being accepted into the program for training. Students must participate in 8 weeks of training and attend regular meetings to become an official PAL member, and students will receive a certificate of completion for the training.
